Paintball Air Tanks
Paintball air tanks store the compressed gas used to power a paintball marker. The two most common systems are compressed air (HPA) tanks and CO2 tanks. HPA systems use a regulator to deliver consistent air pressure, while CO2 tanks store liquid carbon dioxide that expands into gas as it is used.
Compressed air paintball tanks are the most common choice for modern markers and are available in aluminum 3000 PSI configurations or lightweight carbon fiber 4500 PSI systems. Common tank sizes include 48/3000 for recreational play and 68/4500 or 77/4500 for players who want increased air capacity with lighter equipment.
Choosing the Right Paintball Air Tank
The air system you choose should match the type of paintball marker you are using. Many modern electronic paintball guns are designed to run on compressed air systems, while some mechanical markers can operate with either CO2 or compressed air.
Badlands carries paintball air tanks, CO2 cylinders, and compressed air systems from trusted brands including HK Army, Empire, and Tippmann, along with accessories designed to help players maintain and transport their air systems.
