GI Sportz 3 Star Paintballs are a higher-grade paint option designed for players who want improved consistency and breakability compared to standard field paint. This level of paint is commonly used for competitive play, speedball, and advanced recreational games.
Compared to lower-grade paint, 3 Star paintballs are manufactured with tighter tolerances for improved roundness and more consistent performance from shot to shot. The shell is more brittle than entry-level and field-grade paint, helping produce more consistent breaks on impact.
Best suited for: competitive play, speedball, and players using mid- to high-end paintball markers. May also be used for scenario play when higher consistency is preferred.
Because of the more brittle shell, this paint may be less suitable for some entry-level blowback markers that place more force on the paintball during firing. Players using these markers often choose field-grade paint for more consistent feeding.
