The Lancer Tactical BG Defense Type-A SPR 12″ Gen 2 AEG is a licensed airsoft rifle built around the Type-A forged receiver design, offering modern styling paired with Lancer Tactical’s Gen 2 internal platform. Officially licensed by BG Defense, this model replicates the look and layout of the real-steel Type-A SPR while remaining lightweight and field-ready.
The rifle features a full-metal 12″ SPR-style M-LOK handguard with a split bottom Picatinny section. This layout reduces overall weight while providing flexible mounting options for accessories and improved hand clearance. Ambidextrous fire controls and a dual-sided charging handle support both left- and right-handed users.
Internally, the Gen 2 gearbox platform includes a 6.03mm precision inner barrel for improved consistency and grouping. A rotary-style hop-up chamber allows for fine adjustment without tools, accessed easily through the functioning bolt catch. The quick-change spring system makes velocity tuning straightforward for different field requirements.
An adjustable NSR stock supports large-type batteries and provides a comfortable, stable shooting position. This AEG ships ready to use with a 9.6V 1600mAh NiMH nunchuck battery and charger included.
