The Specna Arms EDGE series combines reinforced construction with upgraded internal components and factory-installed electronics. The J05 EDGE ASTER V3 is built on an AK platform with a steel receiver and enhanced internal architecture designed for reliability and tuning potential.
The receiver is manufactured from stamped steel sheet, paired with a one-piece steel outer barrel and metal hop-up chamber. A 6.03mm precision aluminum inner barrel supports consistent shot alignment. The rifle features a dovetail-style side mounting rail and 24mm CW / 14mm CCW threaded muzzle for compatible devices.
ORION™ V3 Gearbox with ESA™ System
The reinforced ORION™ V3 gearbox is designed for durability and compatibility with higher-strength springs up to M140. The ESA™ quick-change spring system allows rapid spring swaps once the gearbox is removed from the receiver, without opening the gearbox shell. An additional M90 spring is included.
Internal components include steel gears, reinforced polymer piston with full steel rack, aluminum double-sealed cylinder head, aluminum double-sealed piston head with ball bearing, and a spring guide with ball bearings.
Pre-Installed GATE ASTER™ V3
This model includes a factory-installed GATE ASTER™ V3 electronic trigger unit, providing programmable fire control, improved electrical efficiency, and enhanced trigger response. A GATE diagnostic card is included.
