MAGNUS TDC Hop-Up Chamber
Drawing inspiration from the top-tier tuning hop-up chambers on the market, the PRIME features the Top-Down-Center (TDC) Magnus Chamber paired with a Helium Flat-hop bucking and a 6.02mm stainless steel inner barrel for jighly accurate and stable adjustment that delivers excellent accuracy and durability.
AETHER Gearbox - Features, Benefits, and Enhancements
Starting from scratch, the engineers at Specna designed an entirely new gearbox shell that offers not only exceptional durabililty, but numerous features that exhance the user's abililty to maintain and further upgrade their gun.
For those seeking modern solutions, the gearbox shell is designed to work with magazine sensors for GATE® ASTER II™ and TITAN II™ systems. The GATE® ASTER II™ system is available in select models. The magazine sensor is sold separately.
Reinforcements. Critical areas such as the front of the gearbox shell and the spring guide base have been reinforced, while paying close attention to the cylinder window geometry to minimize stress on the pneumatic system's axis.
AOE & Pre-cocking inspection holes. To ensure seamless interaction between the piston and piston gear, inspection holes for checking the Angle of Engagement (AOE) and pre-cocking have been incorparated into the shells. This allows you to verify that the piston gear correctly engages the first tooth of the piston or that the cycle stops at the appropriate position, it also lets you check for Premature Engagement (PME).
HPA Alignment Screw Holes. With future HPA upgrades in mind, the gearbox shell has been designed to allow for horizontal adjustment, ensuring optimal performance and a great air seal.
8mm J-cage Bearings and Bushing. To ensure smooth operation, 8mm J-cage ball bearings on both the sector and bevel gears have been employed. Simulation and load testing have revealed additional stress on the spur gear seat in traditional gearbox setups. Therefore, a steel bushing has been implemented at this location to provide maximum durability.
Anti-Reversal Release Hole. To facilitate gearbox maintenance, servicing, and in case of gearset jams, an inspection hole has been included for releasing the anti-reversal latch and checking the bevel gear condition.
Trigger Tension Adjustment Screw. Simplicity at its best! A small screw located behind the trigger axis allows for pre-tension adjustment on any V2 gearbox trigger.
Gate Magazine Switch Compatible. For those seeking modern solutions, we have prepared a gearbox shell designed to work with magazine sensors for GATE® ASTER II™ and TITAN II™ systems. The GATE® ASTER II™ system is available in select models. The magazine sensor is sold separately.
Pneumatic System and Gear Set
With a robust gearbox shell in place, attention was turned to the internals, delivering what is probably the best manufacturer's gear set on the market. The first focus of the Specna design team was a completely new pneumatic system, designed with the goal of achieving maximum airtightness and compression efficiency. The steel cylinder features external ribbing for effective heat dissipation, preventing significant diameter changes even during extended firing and ensuring a consistent seal. The aluminum cylinder head is equipped with two O-rings for optimal sealing and is engineered to work seamlessly with the cylinder. The dedicated, sealed nozzle is specifically designed for compatibility with the MAGNUS™ hop-up chamber. An aluminum piston head, precision-fitted with an O-ring and mounted on a polymer piston with a steel rack, ensures a perfect seal and efficient operation. Enlarged ventilation holes in the aluminum head further promote consistent airflow.
To create a truly reliable gearbox, careful consideration was also given to the gear set. Rather than using common sintered steel gears, CNC-machined steel gears with a 16:1 ratio were selected for superior durability and performance. Additionally, the shimming process was refined to achieve perfect gear alignment, ensuring smooth and consistent operation.

The HAL™ ETU is an electronic unit designed to enhance your airsoft experience. Its advanced features will put you in control of your gun's performance. Featuring magnetic sensor-based trigger detection and Hall effect technology, HAL™ provides precise and reliable trigger response. An active brake system increases control and accuracy, while the binary trigger allows for crisp and consistent fire. Programming the HAL™ is very simple with an intuitive trigger interface, making customization quick and easy. In addition, a low battery alarm ensures you never run out of power unexpectedly.
